We were at Atlanta Country Club with both our moms—Blake’s and mine. My mom was visiting from California for the first time to meet Blake’s mom in person, and we’d planned a Mother’s Day photo session so we could do family pictures together.

We were outside during our photos when the photographer asked me to face a different direction. As I turned, I saw Blake on one knee. I honestly thought it was just a pose at first—until I looked at his hand and saw the box. I started crying immediately. All he said was, "Baby, you know I love you, right?" I nodded, he opened the box, and asked, "Will you marry me?"

Having both of our moms there was everything. Blake wanted our engagement to be a Mother's Day gift for them—a moment they'd get to witness together. It was perfect.

Registry

Our Honeymoon Adventure

We are so deeply grateful for everyone who is able to celebrate with us on our wedding day. Your presence means everything to us, and that alone is the greatest gift we could ask for.

As we begin this beautiful new chapter together, we feel incredibly blessed to have the love and support of the people who mean the most to us. Rather than a traditional registry, we've chosen to create a honeymoon filled with meaningful experiences and unforgettable moments. We've dreamed of slow mornings in beautiful places, romantic evenings, new adventures, and the joy of simply being together as newlyweds.

If you'd like to contribute to our journey, you'll find experiences, excursions, hotels, and little pieces of our Greece adventure within our registry. Each gift will help us create memories we'll carry with us for a lifetime. If you choose to give, you'll be giving us far more than a gift—you'll be helping us savor every precious moment of this new chapter in our story.

What's the weather like in April in Georgia?

April in Marietta is lovely and mild, with daytime temperatures typically in the upper 60s to low 70s. Evenings can be cool, so we recommend bringing a light wrap or jacket for comfort throughout the evening. April can also bring occasional rain, so an umbrella might be helpful if you're arriving early in the day.
